Smoke and mystery from Imperial China, originally from the Wuyi region of the Chinese province of Fujian. A deep rich black tea. Considered to be the first ever tea created. The literal meaning of Lapsang Souchuong means 'made in the province of Fujian'. In the Chinese culture is believed that the higher is the province, the better the quality of the tea. Fujian is one of the highest in China.
